Charlie Shavers, 1920 - 1971, was a much underrated trumpet player in the swing style of the 1930s and 40s. Though in technique and control he could blow the socks off most of the trumpet players of his era, he chose not to. His Jazz improvisations were never exhibitionist. Even when he played, loud, fast and high, it was exciting, not just a flurry of meaningless notes. I think he deserves a tune named after him. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Shavers
