The music is my tribute to Horace Silver. Those with a clarssical education will recognise the title's reference to the Latin poet Horace, most famous for his collection of odes. Though separated in time by more than two millennia, they have other things in common: they are supreme lyric poets in their respective art forms, and both dedicated works to their fathers.
