I composed, arranged and recorded Bebop Bassoon in 1968 in a 4-track state-of-the-art studio. I'm playing bassoon, clarinet, baritone saxophone and piano. 

Bass (Ron Rubin) and drums (Bill Eyden) laid down rhythm tracks.  I multi-tracked the written parts for piano, 2 bassoons, 2 clarinets then recorded the improvised solos, 

The chords are based on I Love Paris; there is a short reference to that tune early on.
